Euless, TX Family Photographer

My gorg sister and her family came and stayed with us for the weekend and we managed to get out and catch some shots. You'll be seeing a lot more of them in the next months as she's 15 weeks pregnant with my new (probably) niece. They'll find out for sure what she's having this week! I'm very excited to have new subjects being born, lol. Aren't they such a beautiful family? I could eat my niece up.

After the crazy busy week I had, we booked it up to Tulsa on Saturday to attend my step-sister's wedding to her beautiful new wife Cara. There is a reason I'm not a wedding photographer, and thankfully I was only attending as a guest here, but here are the photos I managed to grab. The ceremony was so beautiful, and Erin and Cara love each other so much. It was amazing to be there and witness their commitment to one another. Love you guys.

The kiddos boogied down like crazy. I think Luke danced more than any other guest.

Arlington, TX Newborn Photographer

Ok, I'm caught up on sneak peaks! Now I can frantically edit straight for the next 2 weeks so I can get everyone's discs out in time for Christmas ordering and everything. Thanks everyone for your patience!

Here's baby E again. Isn't she to die for adorable? I love newborns.

I'm sorry that I continue to be short on words, but here's sweet little Baby W again. He was already 4 weeks old and I was nervous about getting him to sleep, but he really did so good. And those big eyes of his, so beautiful.

Plano, TX Children Photographer

Lots of repeat families lately. I first met this little girl back in August, 2008 when mama was still 8 months pregnant with her. You'll recognize this first photo as probably my fav maternity shot ever! Her maternity session remains as my favorite maternity shoot that I've ever done, despite being my first stranger session ever and I had no idea what I was doing at the time. Well, she's now 15 months old, still doing the wobbly toddler walk, super cute, rock star all-around. We just did a quick mini shoot with her, but she totally nailed the shots and was so cute and cooperative. Love her.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone has an amazing Turkey Day! I'll be making my first turkey this year, so wish me luck!

Plano, TX Baby Photographer

I first met this beautiful family when mama here was in her first trimester. She called me to come do a shoot of her and her extended family. Little did I know when I took that call how influential they'd be in my photography journey. The H Family was among the first stranger shoots I ever did, back when I barely had a grip on what I was doing. I've since photographed the maternity, birth, newborn and now 6 month photos of baby Levi here. I get asked all the time about the "Levi" shoot when I'm out doing newborns and his newborn shoot sticks out in my head as a turning point for me and my career in photography. I walked away from that session feeling confidant, feeling like I was finding my style, and thinking "Hey, maybe I really could do this for a living!" So not only is Levi a freakin' stunner of a baby who totally makes my job easy, but the H family has always been super supportive of my journey. I swear, half of my portfolio building shoots have been recommendations from them. Anyway, I'm thrilled to get to continue documenting Levi's life and hope you enjoy seeing how much he's grown. He's such a little Gerber baby I can't stand it.

Feel free to be duly impressed by his mad sitting up skills, it's a new talent.
Ok, this baby blanket was made by a family member, but it was started back when mama was born in the early 80's and never got finished. Now that there's a new generation, it's been finished and passed on. So much love put into this little project, I just love the story and I'm so glad we got to capture it.
